چکیده
Retentate is a by-product of the membrane clarification sugarcane juice process and contains high sucrose concentration which not recovered during sugar manufacturing. The lack cost-effective treatment retentate produced by one main issues that hinder adoption technology in industry. present work evaluates composition uses information to explore effective approaches for utilization. Compositional analysis revealed insoluble components was 6.25% 48% organics, 52% inorganics. Sucrose (14.9%) dominant component followed reducing sugars (0.62%). Significant amounts polysaccharides (2%) proteins (0.5%) were retentate, far higher than those mixed juice. Lipophilic compounds (e.g., fatty acids, octacosanol, stigmasterol ?-sitosterol) accumulated (3.56% based on dry substance), while phenolic content (equivalent 1.1 mg gallic acid·g?1) similar Based composition, it proposed multifaceted approach can be used harness various products from concentrate. As carbohydrate highest two evaluated add value, namely recovery via carbonation production oleaginous yeast biomass R. glutinis strain. Carbonation clarify estimated 71.2% using typical manufacturing processes. Biolipid derived has potential biodiesel residue had as valuable feed supplement. A preliminary comparative economic conducted with considering value final (i.e., biolipid/biodiesel) their operating costs.

Value Added Products from Oil Shale
Oil shale is more than an energy source. It is also a source for various valuable materials. These materials include pyridine, carbonate minerals, alumina, ammonium sulfate, phosphate, sulfur, uranium, vanadium, and zinc, to name a few, from which numerous value-added products can be manufactured. For example, catalysts are made from vanadium and zinc, while alumina is a widely used material fo...

Vinasse, a residue from bioethanol production containing high organic matter concentration, was used as substrate in submerged fermentation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA1 for biosurfactant production. About 2.7 g/L of rhamnolipids was obtained, with surface tension of 29.2 mN/m and critical micelle concentration of 80.3 mg/L. After separation of rhamnolipid and biomass, residual fermentation med...

Bioconversion of lignocellulosic biomass (agro residues, grasses, wood, weed, dedicated energy crops and others) into biofuels and other value-added products offers numerous geopolitical, environmental, and strategic benefits. Ligno-cellulosic biomass (LB) is the most abundant renewable organic resources (∼200 billion tons annually) on earth that are readily available for conversion to biofuels...
متن کاملProduction of value added products from separately collected urine.
For many reasons it is advantageous to collect urine separately and collection systems, so called "no-mix-toilets" exist. Therefore, this work deals with some methods to make use of this urine to produce value added products: IBDU and ammonia water. It could be shown that urea can be converted to IBDU only after concentrating urine. With air stripping and absorption ammonificated urine can be t...
